So, I went out to the field sunday. The refs were saying my gun was ramping...but I believe the stock DM4 board can't ramp...hmmm anyone know for sure? I am tapping the trigger for every shot, so it can't be ramping, but here are the specs for the gun:

- Rare gloss blue anno, 1 of 150
- Shocktech Rail and Air Source Adapter
- Paintballer187's DM4 On/Off plug
- Luckypaintball.com Top Hat Mod
- .688 Back Ultralite
- 25g Microswitch for faster shooting
- Gloss Black Painted on/off and back caps
- Custom Products Modified Trigger, 1 of 1
- STOCK dm4 chip
- Black Dye Sticky Grips

The trigger is extremely light, so that could be one of the reasons they think its ramping.

The refs used to pull me out of at least one game a weekend when I had my PMR because they thought I was on ramping. As long as it is 1 pull one shot every time then you're ok. In tournaments they watch for "bounce" which is similar to the reactive triggers on automags and some tippmanns. So if you are ever in any tournaments I'd adjust it a bit so it wasn't as obvious, but in rec ball it should be fine as it IS on semi.

If someone calls you out on it, let them shoot your gun. That will stop the argument very quickly Smile

Good luck!

It's funny, because the ref swore it was ramping. I told him "It's a stock DM4 board, it DOESNT RAMP!" Then a few other people shot it, and thought it was possibly ramping, but didn't know for sure. It shoots like a beast. I'll most likely be out not this weekend, but next with a few friends, so if you are out there, I'll let you take a look at it.

One guy across the field yelled "Turn that ramping bullshit off!" after I was dry firing to show them how fast it can shoot. I think the guy who yelled it was a Justice League guy.

I'm pretty sure all electronic guns CAN ramp. Here is a link to the manual. Read up on how to change it over and make sure it's set on semi.

Albert at Paintball doctor told me that the stock DM4 board does not ramp. It at one time had a Virtue board I think, but the guy I bought it from sold it right before I bought it from him.

But i suggest getting a Tadao board i SWARE with that board in you shoot like you have a Dm6.

Yeah, I will probably end up getting a Tadao or Virtue. Just need to get the funds first. I wish paintball was my first priority, but, sadly it isnt. If it was I would have an ego or something lol.

But yeah, my plans this weekend fell through. So, I will be out at xdren on...I think Sunday, I don't know for sure.
